Responsible Conduct of Research Training Program

Research Integrity and Compliance

The College of Science and the Office of Research Integrity within the Division of Research and Innovation (DRI) are hosting a nine-month in-person Responsible Conduct of Research (RCR) Training Program on one to two Fridays of each month from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. in academic year 2025-2026.

This seminar series will allow you to complete your RCR training requirements in monthly sessions with presentations by OSU faculty and staff. In particular, this seminar series will allow recipients of NIH career development and training grants to meet their 8-hour, face-to-face training obligations, and for other researchers to meet their requirements and recommendations from other funding agencies. All faculty and graduate students are welcome to attend.

There will be a total of 10 sessions in AY 2025-2026. The schedule for the seminar series is available on this page and will be regularly updated as speakers and dates are confirmed.

Time: 1–2 p.m.
Date: Fridays, once or twice monthly from October 3, 2025 through June 30, 2026

Goals and objectives

The responsible conduct of research (RCR) promotes the aims of scientific inquiry, fosters a research environment that enables scientists to work together toward common goals, and promotes public confidence in scientific knowledge and progress for the public good.

Please visit the NIH Responsible Conduct of Research Training and OSU Responsible Research Practices sites for the goals and objectives of RCR training and education.

The schedule below includes 10 topics that will be covered in this seminar series and includes learning outcomes for each topic.
