Oregon HECC Future Ready Oregon Workforce Development Grants
Oregon HECC Future Ready Oregon Workforce Development Grants
The Oregon HECC Future Ready Oregon Workforce Development grants for healthcare, technology, and manufacturing sectors have been released and are due by July 31, 2024. The new Office of Economic Development and Industry Relations in the Division of Research & Innovation in partnership with the Division of Educational Ventures is coordinating our OSU submissions to avoid duplicative submissions and to support cross sector collaborations to increase competitiveness of proposals. If you or others in your unit are planning to submit, please email Amanda Ronay ([email protected]) by July 5th so that we can make connections, as appropriate.
More about the opportunity: The HECC will award a combined total of approximately $40 million to recruit and retain a diverse workforce in key sectors of Oregon's economy—healthcare, manufacturing, and technology through three sector-focused Requests for Applications (RFAs). Workforce service providers and community-based organizations that administer workforce programs in the healthcare, manufacturing and technology industry sectors and that prioritize equitable program participation by individuals from priority populations are invited to apply by July 31, 2024, and may submit multiple applications. Additional information can be found on the HECC website.
Please share with those whose programs may have alignment with the workforce objectives outlined above (technology, healthcare, manufacturing).
