Eligibility
Nominees must be no more than four years beyond the tenure date.
Selection Criteria
Nominations will be reviewed based on the following areas:
- Exceptional achievement in research as evidenced by honors and awards; scholarship being featured in important (to the field or Science) venues; significant publications; significant grant funding record; significant number of patents & inventions; research has strong societal impact; scholarship has strong standing in basic research in Science; or similar examples.
- Exceptional achievement in education as evidenced by the building of an inclusive research community which includes mentoring of diverse students and postdocs; nominee has engaged in innovative pedagogies for transformative learning, nominee has developed workshops or courses or curriculum that are in cutting edge research areas, other similar examples.
- Equity Impact as evidenced by examples of how the nominee promotes equity, inclusivity, and access in research and education. Provide examples.
Nomination Guidelines

- Nomination letter on letterhead (two pages or less)
- Biographical sketch (2 pages with content that supports award)
- List of Nominee’s most significant publications (one page)
- Two support letters (each letter is two pages or less); at least one letter writer should be from outside OSU
