OSRAA is hiring a proposal analyst

The Proposals Team in Oregon State’s OSRAA unit is happy to share that we are growing and have a new Proposal Analyst (Program Representative 2) position open now (remote and hybrid are available). This position will support our researchers through pre-award review of and serving as an AOR on submissions of proposals to federal, state, foundation, and industry sponsors.

We are looking for someone who enjoys detail oriented/deadline-driven work, is up for learning the complexities of a wide range of sponsors and proposals, and thrives in a team-oriented environment. Even though pre-award research administration experience is preferred, please apply if you have excellent time management skills, excellent oral and written communication skills, are a great team player, have worked in an environment that required knowledge and implementation of federal or state compliance, and/or have at least two years of experience analyzing, monitoring, developing or managing budgets for, or reviewing projects.

Oregon State’s sponsored programs office is an exciting place to work with great benefits. We submitted 2,000 proposals last year with $950M in proposed funding. We encourage and support professional development with promotional opportunities both within the proposal team and to other positions in our office, support for attending conferences and trainings, and the opportunity to specialize in sponsors of interest. OSU also has a helpful network of proposal support staff across the university. Oregon State University is located in Corvallis, a beautiful college town in the Pacific Northwest.

This position can be fully remote, in‐person, or hybrid. Remote work schedules are based in the Pacific Time zone. This classified staff position provides annual increases within the 10‐step range (currently $54,995 – $84,177).
