BrightFocus provides research funds for U.S. domestic as well as international researchers pursuing pioneering research leading to greater understanding, prevention, and treatment of age-related macular degeneration. We hold competitions for three grant programs:

Postdoctoral Fellowship - $100,000 a year for two years ($200,000 total)
New Investigator Grant Program - $150,000 a year for three years ($450,000 total)
Innovative Research Grants - $200,000 a year for three years ($600,000 total)
