OMI’s primary mission is to facilitate research funded by Oregon Metals Companies at Oregon research universities. It does this through a government-funded 1:1 match of the cash and in-kind provided by the Oregon Metals Companies.

Additionally OMI also secondarily funds (also through a 1:1 match) research projects from other Oregon companies and organizations.

If you have a possible, pending, or recently-started research project with an Oregon-based company or organization please contact [email protected] to determine if your project could be eligible for OMI matching funds.
