The Department of Defense (DoD) has announced the Fiscal Year 2026 Defense University Research Instrumentation Program (DURIP). This program aims to enhance the research capabilities of U.S. institutions of higher education by providing funds for the acquisition of major research equipment or instrumentation. The DURIP is supported by the Air Force Office of Scientific Research (AFOSR), the Army Research Office (ARO), and the Office of Naval Research (ONR).

Awards: Eligible institutions can receive grants ranging from $50,000 to $3,000,000, with the possibility of exceptions for higher amounts under specific conditions.
Duration: 12 months
